Kitchen Cabinets

E-mail Print

Given our 5 lines of kitchen cabinetry, Blue Plum offers literally thousands of door styles and a wide-range of prices.

Typical questions we ask clients to help guide and narrow their selection:

  • Do you prefer flat, framed (shaker), or raised panel door styles? Any kind of inspiration photos from magazines helps identify preferences. Also, here is a link to a door selector from our vendor Nickels Cabinets. http://www.nickelscabinets.com/doorselector.asp?Line=nickelscustom
  • Painted, Wood, Laminate, or a combination. At this point, it definitely helps to see doors, because some of the new wood-tone laminates are beautiful, less expensive, and durable.
  • Is the kitchen fitted - meaning wall to wall and floor to ceiling. Or is there some wall shown above the cabinets. Meaning, if you look at our images of Italian cabinetry, they tend to only place cabinets were they are easily accessible. Whereas our custom lines can have extra tall cabinets.
  • Green Eco-Friendly - Are you looking for the lowest emission levels of formaldehyde and VOCs?
