Sell Cabinets - For the most part, Blue Plum is a cabinet retailer specializing in unique, affordable cabinetry that is made in several factories in North America and Italy. The manufacturers we offer range in size from companies with several employees to others with hundreds of employees. Yet they all have one thing in common, they provide value.
Sell Countertops - To compliment our kitchen, we offer a wide range of countertops in varying materials and thicknesses.
Space Planning - If needed, we create photorealistic drawings to show potential configurations.
How do we make money?
We typically make money from the sale of products such as cabinetry and countertops.
How are we different?
Besides providing affordable cabinetry, Blue Plum is rare in that we design and provide cabinetry from several countries. In other words, we deeply understand contemporary and European design, and can apply those principals to a range of products regardless of their country of origin. Thus we are able to blend a multitude of styles. For example, we might use a classic Italian configuation, but warm the design with more woods and calming colors.
Do we provide contractor services?
Even though Blue Plum is not a contractor, we can make sure that your cabinetry is installed correctly. Depending on the scope of the project, we will strongly recommend several companies that we have worked with and know they understand the details of finish carpentry, are price competitive and work around your schedule.
How long does it take to get cabinets?
It typically takes 8 weeks for cabinets from Canada or the US; l0-12 weeks from Italy; locally 3-6 weeks.
Are we cost competitve with Home Depot or Ikea?
Yes. We have several offerings that are low cost. In general, we have not found big box stores to have great deals; especially when you factor in hidden costs (assembly and trim), construction method, and customer service.
Do we offer contractor, architect, or designer discounts?
Yes.
